This is the photo of my necklace hanging on the wall. I use 3 layers with different colors to blend, then I have this piece with the red hot color of fire and blood around my inverted cross.

You have it so it really feels like there is a lot of depth.
You might try using Filter>Render>lighting effects. Make sure you set the texture channel to red, and slide the slider to mountainous.
